Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SGS126-440 LLC, doing business as Shinglekit ("Shinglekit," "we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you visit our website, interact with our SMS workflows, request or use our services, or otherwise engage with us.

By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • the Shinglekit website and related pages;
  • website claim, preview, and signup workflows;
  • website management and support services;
  • SMS-based communications and review-request workflows; and
  • related customer service, billing, and operational activities.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • name, business name, and contact details;
  • mobile phone number and other communication details;
  • business address, service information, hours, and related website content;
  • customer phone numbers that you instruct us to use for review-request messages;
  • support messages and other communications you send to us; and
  • payment and billing-related information, to the extent handled through our payment providers.

2.2 Publicly Available Business Information

As part of our service model, we may collect and use publicly available business information, including:

  • business names;
  • public phone numbers;
  • addresses;
  • business hours;
  • service categories;
  • public review information; and
  • other publicly visible listing data.

We may use this information to prepare preview websites before formal signup as part of the service offering.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our website or hosted pages, we may collect:

  • IP address;
  • browser type and device information;
  • approximate location derived from IP;
  • pages visited and interaction data;
  • timestamps and request metadata; and
  • diagnostic or security log data.

2.4 Payment Information

Payment card information is handled by our payment processor, such as Stripe. Shinglekit may receive limited billing metadata, such as customer IDs, payment method status, transaction status, and related billing events, but does not store full card numbers.

3. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

  • build, host, and maintain customer websites;
  • prepare preview sites and claim flows;
  • operate website update and approval workflows;
  • send operational SMS messages;
  • send review-request SMS messages at a client's instruction;
  • process billing and maintain payment readiness;
  • provide support and respond to inquiries;
  • improve service quality, reliability, and security;
  • detect abuse, fraud, or unlawful use; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

4. SMS and Review Request Data

Because Shinglekit is an SMS-first service, phone numbers are central to how the Services operate.

4.1 Business Owner SMS

We use owner phone numbers to:

  • match businesses to preview or live sites;
  • send operational or billing messages;
  • send preview and approval links; and
  • maintain an ongoing service communication thread.

4.2 Customer Review Request SMS

When a client instructs us to send a review request to one of their customers, we process the phone number provided by that client solely to send the requested review message and maintain a service record of that communication.

We rely on the client to provide numbers they are authorized to use. Clients are responsible for the legality of the numbers and instructions they submit.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent data are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Services, including:

  • Stripe for payment processing;
  • Twilio for SMS delivery;
  • Cloudflare for DNS, CDN, and related infrastructure;
  • Hostinger or other hosting providers for infrastructure and website hosting;
  • Lob or similar vendors for outreach mail services, if used;
  • domain registrars for domain registration or transfer; and
  • other vendors reasonably necessary to operate the Services.

We may also disclose information:

  • to comply with law, regulation, subpoena, or legal process;
  • to protect the rights, safety, or property of Shinglekit, our users, or others;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale; or
  • with your consent or at your direction.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the Services;
  • maintain operational and billing records;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations;
  • resolve disputes; and
  • enforce our agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data. For example:

  • billing and transaction records may be retained for legal or accounting purposes;
  • operational SMS and workflow logs may be retained for support, audit, or abuse-prevention purposes; and
  • public business information may be retained as part of service records or preview workflows.

7. Data Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at info@shinglekit.com.

We may retain certain information after a deletion request where necessary to:

  • complete transactions;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • resolve disputes;
  • enforce our agreements; or
  • maintain limited audit or security records.

If you are a client, deletion of certain information may make it impossible for us to continue providing the Services.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, server logs, and similar technologies to operate the site, maintain sessions, improve performance, and understand usage patterns.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain technologies may affect site functionality.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

11. California Privacy Notice

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under California law, including the right to request:

  • information about categories of personal information we collect, use, disclose, or share;
  • access to certain personal information we hold about you;
  • deletion of certain personal information, subject to exceptions; and
  • correction of inaccurate personal information, where applicable.

Shinglekit does not sell personal information for money and does not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the ordinary course of the Services.

To exercise applicable privacy rights, contact us at info@shinglekit.com.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

12. Communications Compliance

Shinglekit provides a platform and managed service that includes SMS communications. Clients are responsible for the legality of the customer phone numbers and instructions they provide to us for review-request messages or other client-directed outreach.

Operational messages to account holders may continue as necessary to provide the Services, subject to applicable law and opt-out limits described in our Terms of Service.

13. International Users

Shinglekit is based in the United States, and information may be stored and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our vendors operate.

If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by updating the policy on our website, by email, by SMS, or by another reasonable method.

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
